Interesting that Brennan said he doesn't remember any unmasking decision coming to his level.

And I think people who invest in that rather than the ease with which Americans can be swept up in foreign spying are counterproductive.
-
Isn't the unmasking for political purposes ie political spying happening much more often than what is largely believed though?
-
Yeah. You need to go learn how spying works. I get that GOP don't but no reason you should wallow in their stupidity.
-
Word. Problem is that most explaining those terms in Congress don't know what they're talking about either.

I meant the use of foreign intercepts and unmasking for political purposes, as isn't that really the danger of the vast spying apparatus?
-
Right. But again, you don't know enough about what you're talking about to make sense. You're parroting stupid people.
-
Geez, and here I thought I was asking questions to learn more about it from someone I believed had a solid understanding. My apologies.
-
OK. Problem--the risk--is that US person names don't need to be unmasked on a back door search. And Flynn, Page, Manafort would all come up
-
So the stupid GOPers are screaming about unmasking and they don't even realize that this stuff is far more readily available off searches.
-
AS IT IS, back door searching has a detrimental affect on certain Americans' lives. They're frequently not white tho so GOPers don't care
