I had those specifications (translated from the magazine's Russian) reviewed by a military cell site operator; he said they made sense.

That's what my coauthor (Ukrainian) said. He says a few of the mistakes are typical of Russian speakers.

IMSI catchers do much more useful when used quietly (or so I'm told by Heath Hardman). Propaganda value is real, but still.
