So that gloating Daily Beast article and the even more gloating tweets have done (prolly) Putin's work in sowing more distrust. Congrats!

Is this an argument about accuracy in reporting or a defense of WL?
-
It's an argument about how hate for WL leads people to believe incorrect things, which makes us less safe.
-
Also an arg that if point of releasing emails is to sow distrust, inaccurate reporting added greatly to it.
-
Ah. Well, there are plenty of people whose dislike for Assange translates into dislike for WL and makes them want to believe the worst.
-
Such is human nature.

Is there a substantive difference between WikiLeaks personally hosting the files and WL repeatedly tweeting out links to them? I'm not sure
-
Did you read the post? 2 big differences. From the start, WL raised Qs abt them, and it hasn't (yet) claimed they've been vetted.
-
Plenty of security researchers have also posted links, for the same reason: to try to understand what's there.

I suspect the obviously named folders, other alteration that make some dox appear fake is bc the person dumping sorted info for own use
-
I don't know when I'm going to read them but I feel like I have to now that there's so much shite out there.
