It's really funny how the press has adopted "globalist" in their coverage. Even creepier than willingness to adopt alt-right, IMO.
I'd prefer cosmopolitanism, but then that's what I'd call myself in distinction to free traders.

Do they call him a cosmopolitan? I thought they called him a globalist. At least in the US I think it's the latter.

Then globalist may have replaced cosmopolitan for that purpose.
