ALL of it. Yes, GRU tried to hack Macron. But Macron says they didn't succeed. But I bet other nation-state spies did! Including NSA.

Do you think it ALSO newsworthy to prominently note they didn't succeed? About 15 articles came out before I saw one that noted that.
