In 2013, BEFORE Snowden docs made SWIFT hack clear, EU Ombud asked to check EU-US SWIFT compliance. Europol refused access.
Yeah, but it could be worse. I don't think this release is as bound to apply pressure in France and Germany as other leaks.

i think it might interact in interesting ways with other pain points the EU has with US hacking. Regin, etc., & the dis-ease with this shit.

Agree. Not to mention the bogosity of Privacy Shield. But not in a way that will add to animosity at EU.
