Honestly, I'm more proud I called out James Clapper "not wittingly" lie in real time than this favorite. But my live-tweeting does rawk!pic.twitter.com/BAMHEwoGXE
Abundant tweets about civil liberties & national security. "Has a longer memory than an elephant & keeps more records than Jim Comey.” Legendary potty mouth.

The point I was making back in 2014 was that members of the House cannot all access classified information. HPSCI has to vote indivs access
Nunes is bad, but on that point he's less bad than Mike Rogers was: Members can go and ask HPSCI nicely to share their intel.
Do you know if any Members didn't just ask for access but pressed for access and Rogers still blocked them?
Hm. When HPSCI was created, it was understood that any Member would be given access; and the enabling rule required it. And still does. 1/
Fine print: Was also understood that if any "undesirable" Mbr asked for access, Speaker's office would "advise" Mbr to withdraw request. 2/
Under Rogers and still, the request is put to a vote. I believe there is a public account of Alan Grayson being denied in 2013 (on Syria)
But his is not the only request that was denied. Recall, too, Rogers withheld info on phone/Internet dragnet.
Also, individual document requests may be recommended to be withdrawn now.
I wish I could recall why this specifies "lawful"… (Rule X 11(g)(3)(a))pic.twitter.com/amTkA1SheG
O_o. That's rather interesting given one of the requests I know to be denied.
