"~ 90% of Clinton’s attack ads went after Trump as individual -- compared w/just 10% that went after his policies"

Study also confirms reporting no Dem ads until last week in MI, 2nd to last in WI. Trump's closing ad was creepy--but effective.pic.twitter.com/X1TLsbl9WE

still doesn't explain PA which was the lynchpin. Clearly lots of mistakes in MI and WI but wouldn't have changed the result.
-
The larger arg is Hillary ran far fewer policy ads than any candidate in recent history. Maybe that explains it?
-
With the margin what it was, any counterfactual can potentially change the result.
-
Some with better basis than others. I do hope Dems start talking policy going forward, which they're not doing.

I know you've got a hobby horse to beat but are you really pretending *any* ad strategy post-Comey would've worked for HRC?
-
Well, her closing ad sucked ass. Trump's was quite good. That's all MI saw, at all. So maybe a GOOD ad would = 11,000 votes?
-
Nope cake was baked by then. I could just as easily argue that ambivalent lefties cost her by relitigating primaries.pic.twitter.com/2BBiwhcg28

Bollocks. That shows nothing of the sort. Also, late decider rates were different for different states.
-
Nope. Comey was the inflection point in the race. She won 3 debates, talked about those issues you mention incessantly, big lead
-
You do know not everyone watched those debates? Hillary spent $900M on ads not taking on Trump on policy.
-
BTW>>> http://www.adweek.com/tv-video/presidential-debates-set-ratings-records-2016-does-format-need-change-174205/ … This is more than half the people who cast votes watching *each* 2016 prez debate.

Also one of the only ads, period, shown in MI.

HE HAD NO POLICIES!
-
He literally ran his campaign on a border wall, an end to the ACA and deportation.
-
Those are slogans, not policies.
-
He is literally enacting them as President, I have no fucking clue how privileged you must be.
-
He's not enacting the infrastructure spending he ALSO ran on.
