Admittedly I should have gone all the way to the yard to the regrowing thyme. I was lazy.

I cheat the weather gods and freeze thyme, basil, rosemary, tarragon & sage in whipped butter in late Aug, early Sept.

My life was too crazy to do stuff like that this year. Alas. Normally I bring my herbs inside, but no.

Had a yr w/ an abundance of time & thyme (& other herbs). Can tell you herbs whipped into butter & frozen last at least 4 yrs...
