Looking for ref but in that rant was the claim that raising concerns abt spying on toasters is unreasonable.

It's a silly complaint for a lot of reasons (incl that there have been formal discussions abt spying on IoT).

But most of all bc vulnerabilities to spying & bot-hacking are same so irresponsible to suggest we need not be concerned abt it.
