Scalia and Castro really can't be rationally compared.

well if I do that then maybe you can complain. My tweet was abt norms, not Scalia.
-
Sure. Just brought up Scalia in a vacuum, did you? Do you celebrate all deaths? Did you dance jig when S. Jobs died too?
-
I actually said nice things abt Scalia and defendants rights when he died. But I understand why others celebrated.
-
and no. I didn't celebrate when Jobs died. Tho I did think hagiographies a bit much.
-
I'm not really a celebrate when people die type tho I'm okay with others doing so.

I'm perfectly fine w/celebrating his death. Just like I was w/Thatcher and Scalia.

All those Americans who tried to float to Cuba on inner tubes to escape the murderous Scalia had nothing good 2 say when he died
-
no but a lot of gays celebrated Scalia's death. I'm okay with that.
-
Then why don't you celebrate Castro, who actually imprisoned gays in his country.
-
I could care less that he's dead as he has been mostly dead for decades. But I'm fine that others are celebrating.

his death has made thousands happy in SoFlorida
-
and what I am doing is defending the right of all people to celebrate deaths. You may celebrate mine if you want.
-
as am I. I like the First Amendment. I don't scold.
-
great. Then we agree it is okay for people to celebrate the deaths of people they dislike.
-
Yes, but I also reserve the right to mock them!
