So here's why this is BS. All during the campaign, Trump focused on Ford moving production. Ford production actually moving back and forth.

This story--Ford rebutting that ALL Ford jobs would go overseas--even among "most impressions" stories. http://money.cnn.com/2016/09/15/news/companies/ford-trump-jobs/ …
-
MOST C-platform cars are already made overseas, bc margins on those cars, especially w/$2 gas, can't support US production.
-
Two days ago, Ford reiterated it was moving C-platform production to MX. http://fortune.com/2016/11/15/ford-move-mexico-trump/ … Again: small cars: Focuses and CMax.
-
Margins on Lincoln Navigators--what Louisville makes--are big though. Hell, I've even seen one sold in China for $100K (including taxes).
-
Plus, with Republicans having retained the Senate, they also happen to be a big export job in the Senate Majority Leader's state.
-
So now Trump declares he has SAVED jobs in Louisville that were never at risk. Just a long set-up bullshit savior comment. Pure bullshit.
-
So STORY here is 1) either Trump can't tell difference bt Ford Focus & Lincoln Navigator (possible) 2) he's lying and should be called on it
-
So PLEASE don't report this as "news" that Trump saved these jobs bc I had others things planned for tomorrow. Please?

@realDonaldTrump Lincoln is owned by Ford -
Yes. I've worked for Ford. But there is a reason small Ford production will move to MX faster than Navigators.

as a resident of KY, I'm pretty sure that Mitch and Rand are responsible for jobs that weren't moving staying in Louisville
