That makes zero sense. If voters in battlegrounds broke for Trump MORE than other places, find explanation that was unique to those states.

Rallies/ads/local interviews might have worked Those states were where Trump campaigned & did ad buys so they saw even more about rest of us
-
Right, but they also saw more of Hillary (well, not WI, which is itself a problem). But Trump's final ad wasn't just emails.
-
Email focus of every Trump rally at end of campaign while Clinton didn't even mention 2nd letter Wasn't only the reason but had to be factor
-
I'm positive the emails, generally, were a factor. I just think it's nowhere near the only one.
-
I'm also certain that Hillary knew the emails were a problem that she had to find some way of addressing.

I think in Detroit suburbs a lot of white collar auto workers were conflicted. Gave them a final reason to vote against her.
-
Then it was some underlying stuff, as well, and this was the kicker, no?
-
Still trying to piece it together from friends that work at GM & Ford. Ford's Mexico announcement surely didn't help either.

Yes. I believe even this pollster acknowledged that elsewhere.

Not true. It showed Trump winning popular vote. He lost by a good bit.

it seems increasingly like the "Comey letter killed her" theory is coming from inside the Clinton camp
-
Yeah, and I'm pointing to their own data that raises questions abt that. Another version said switch started before Comey.

"Cant easte my vote on Johnson, I'm in a battleground state"
-
Think that was a big part of it: During precisely that period Johnson voters came home. But did he do worse in battlegrounds?

They were being advertised to more, maybe?
-
By both Trump and Hillary. And Trump's ad was actually not just abt emails. It was very effective. Hers was just "he's a dick."
-
Email was already a huge narrative and they just kept hammering at it. Even though it was bullshit.
