Woman on NPR whining about how Obamacare repeal means no free birth control. My advice: stop expecting govt to pay for your birth control.

I understand the need for shorthand. My problem is the assumption that someone other than she should pay for her birth control
-
That's not the assumption--you DO in fact appear confused. Assumption is insurance should pay for prescription medicine.
-
This is equivalent issue to expectation insurance should pay for childbirth, btw. Basic medical care.
-
birth control is not necessary medical care and many types are available over the counter
-
Childbirth is not necessary either. You willing to forgo that?
-
if a woman is pregnant than yes, childbirth is very much necessary. Birth control is a choice, not a right.
-
Pregnancy--which requires childbirth--is also a choice, not a right. You're totally inconsistent here.
-
regardless, govt shouldn't compel insurance companies to cover anything, childbirth, birth control, etc.
