Woman on NPR whining about how Obamacare repeal means no free birth control. My advice: stop expecting govt to pay for your birth control.
You do realize the govt doesn't pay? A person pays for insurance, and insurer pays, just like for other prescriptions.

yes I realize how it works. I was quoting the woman on NPR
-
Oh. Your comment, "stop expecting govt to pay" seemed to reflect misunderstanding of principle of insurance.
-
understood. It seems she may have been confused
-
Or maybe she was using shorthand and you're now using it to make a comment that suggests ignorance of insurance. 2 errors.
-
I get one uses shorthand on Twitter. But so does one on radio.
-
I understand the need for shorthand. My problem is the assumption that someone other than she should pay for her birth control
-
That's not the assumption--you DO in fact appear confused. Assumption is insurance should pay for prescription medicine.
-
This is equivalent issue to expectation insurance should pay for childbirth, btw. Basic medical care.
