Except it has some very obvious deliberate, um, omissions. But beyond that, by all means!https://twitter.com/Justin_Ling/status/794524699510403076 …

One reason to get details right is bc of quasi-parallel bt deleted Bush WH emails and these. Both discovered in investigation of CLASS info.
-
The other reason to get details right abt genesis of Clinton investigation is bc treatment of classified info is badly fucked.
-
It's all well to say that some of these emails might not have been classified--I've argued forever CIA makes bogus claims abt classification
-
But for less famous/favored people, those claims land people in prison. Sometimes w/cheering, involvement of Hillary and Brian Fallon.
-
Is there a good summary somewhere of any cases where mishandling of unmarked-but-classified info has resulted in jail time?
-
Why would that be relevant?
-
That seems to be what the Clinton case revolves around? That this stuff wasn't marked and later it was deemed classified anyway.
-
Not good measure. There ARE cases where people sent email incl classified info that they didn't mark classified. It's abt intent.

Hillary's reaction to the story helped a lot in blowing it out of proportion
-
Agree. Fuck up on top of fuck up. Not good. And I have real concerns abt response to Congressional requests. Those are real.

The email story gets its proportion from Clinton's history and patterns. Also from her stances on whistleblowers and prosecution

It gets amplified based on her hawkish posture about those who've leaked/mishandled classified info. Her email was a train wreck
