I have no idea who was involved in Hatfill stuf, if they were disciplined. But huge settlement $$ at least means investigation.

Typically the way to avoid holding anyone accountable is to not look too hard. Can't see how they could have avoided it there.

For years, good govt types have complained that most DOJ reviews go thru OPR, not IG. OPR doesn't have statutory authority.

Moreover, the Amerithrax investigation is a particular (excuse the French) shitshow, bc they never solved the case.
