Abundant tweets about civil liberties & national security. "Has a longer memory than an elephant & keeps more records than Jim Comey.” Legendary potty mouth.

Brower (FBI): Remote searches are already happening now; #Rule41 changes just allow remote searches when computer's whereabouts are unknown.
Can panelists agree there's need for MJs to have additional warrant power, that there's a problem we need to address given gaps in the law?
Jumana (@NACDL): Yes, but Q is how to address. This is a rules process; substantive changes shld be done legislatively, this is far-reaching
.@agcrocker: We need leg debate. Letter from congressmembers to AG Lynch today brings up serious Qs that aren't answered in Rule 41 process.
Jumana: another problem is justification for the R41 change vs. the impact the change will have. It'll be used for forum-shopping among MJs.
Why do people think prosecutors will forum shop rather than just going to EDVA? Cyber investigations not tied to location.
Please watch the video of the event once we post it, so you can see @agcrocker's knowing laugh when I said my Q was from you ;)
