I did voter protection in 2008, 2012. Both targeted (by GOP) virtually all-black normally low turnout precincts.

Even REALLY keyed in GOP lawyers were quickly dissuaded from frivolous challenges by a knowledgable counter-challenger (and I'm NAL!)

true. I live in the burbs and have never waited more than a few minutes ever. I can't fathom having to wait hours and hours.

Plus, in neighborhoods where local schools have shut, often no appropriate ADA compliant building to have poll.
