Since we're talking chronic back pain, personal milestone: 2 weeks in row cycling where muscles gave out b4 back went into screaming spasms
I'm very flexible but have unfixed misplaced left knee cap served badly by twisting in ultimate frisbee.

Ouch! Have that on my right knee after doing splits while getting off lift snowboarding. Tore adductor from my hip as well.

Mine's genetic. Rodeo doctor in UT fixed the right. Gotta do a bunch of lifting to fix the left, I think.

That's been my goal - stave off anything invasive as long as possible through exercise! And wear a knee brace when running : )

I probably shouldn't but I am 1 minute run from lake front path so hard to resist! But then you're smarter than me for sure ;)

Yes, I told you you're smarter than me! I prefer inline skating over biking but feel running burns more calories.

Biking has been a challenge--like I said, the back always limited how long I could ride. But... progress.
