someone’s claiming it “on her behalf”. Let’s wait to hear what her attorney says. I’m sure she has one by now. @lrozen

Yes. Correct. Thanks for the correction.
@lrozen -
sorry, didn't mean to be pedantic, just these claims by a 3rd person who admits never speaking w her seem questionable.
-
No. Fair point. Then again, that's also how we're getting the FBI side of the story.
-
i hope she does get an attorney and someone to speak on her behalf. frustrating for everybody trying to understand
-
Agree. Especially given FBI defensiveness abt not IDing Mateen I worry that they're only ones w/mouthpiece.
@Zendette -
ex wife managed to get her side out but maybe at less potential jeopardy

or people allegedly close to her say that, per this piece, no?
-
Right. Second hand claims.

That's one side of the story. Who knows?? If she's really under risk of indictment hope lawyer vetted public claims.

@samhusseini did anything ever come of the ex-wife claim that FBI told her not to speak to US media? (Recognize it was the Post) -
Claim was actually from ex-wife's partner, to Brazilian TV (he's Brazilian) in portuguese.
@samhusseini -
the bizarre abounds

@leakymcphee@samhusseini This we know. They won't talk about it or release anything. Put a muzzle on her + hang her out to dry. -
Im unclear if they're trying to railroad her or using her to manage news cycle &policy discussion
-
testing for sure.
