Except he gave his own hand-written journals (Secret, not TS) to person w/clearance. No comparison to you, @snowden.https://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/736592218794889216 …

On TOP of sharing books, Petraeus ALSO was storing such info in an unlocked top drawer in his home office AND lying to FBI
Does look like he had TS/SCI. And yet the only person he shared it with had a clearance and no intention of giving it to press.
Again: illegal and wrong. I've said publicly before that a lower Soldier would face harsher consequences. But he ain't Snowden.
There was no intent on Petraeus' part to actively harm the national security of the United States and our allies.
I get you hate Snowden--totally fair. But you really damage case when doing anything but decrying Petraeus BS.
I absolutely decry the way Petraeus was treated! It wasn't fucking harsh enough! But he 1) copped to it & 2) didn't intend harm.
You can say all you want that Snowden didn't do it for ego, but that's complete BS. Whistleblowers don't take unrelated docs.
You have a copy of the Snowden docs?
