I may be repeating myself but I always have great experiences with @leroymerlinfr. New flooring is finished & looks amazing.
@ChrisInParis Do you have a French twitter feed where that compliment will presumably be more useful?

@emptywheel No, but lots of Anglo expats in my feed who live in FR. Plus that store always responds to either. I love that place.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@emptywheel If you remember buying & returning - or trying to return - things here in the past, it's completely different with this store. -
@ChrisInParis I think I bought VERY few things, outside of food, in Paris. A fancy dress and a bikini. You know: proper French stuff. -
@emptywheel It's only since renovating that I started doing lots of returns. Never with the good stuff like food. -
@ChrisInParis I've found, even in the former furniture capital of the US, I mail-order. Which sucks. -
@emptywheel Some things are easier via mail, but for the DIY stuff I've had to go there countless times. Such informative & friendly people. -
@ChrisInParis Well, hardware stores in the US, as you likely know, still tend to be bastions of service. Home renovation? Not so much. -
@emptywheel I like going there b/c for electrical work, they've even drawn out diagrams for me. A wealth of information. -
@ChrisInParis Still working on convincing spouse it's the year to do cycling trip in Burgundy so that may be the beginning of the end for me - 1 more reply
