@emptywheel But the courts will decide if AWA can compel in instant case. As to TPP et al and unique US benefits you may be right. -
@emptywheel Maybe Apple will decide to stay out of plain ol' "love of country". So long as it does, it should comply with law. -

@emptywheel I'm not hugely concerned, personally. But it's helpful to note how many options Apple has to exercise within its lawful right. -
@emptywheel And those rights include challenging the orders in EDNY and CDCA, opposing legislation while asserting lack of leg in court, etc
