@iwelsh Radical will never get confirmed. GOP would take chances with Hillary. WHich would mean almost no radicals would be willing to do it -
@emptywheel If a Dem wins, you can get better than what would be confirmed in the lame duck, so why not go for more? -
@iwelsh Because you'd have to withdraw nod to existing nominee, which would be like hanging Dawn Johnsen out to --I guess there's precedent!
