@DanaHoule Given that I'm doing things TO retire now, that's a dumb arg. You're saying "not change much" > universal health CARE. Not true.

@emptywheel …doing anything about retirement, when what you’re really arguing is they’re not changing their investments so they don’t care.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@DanaHoule Aside from negotiating drug prices, can you point to where HILLARY has a plan to make ACA "universal health CARE"?2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

@emptywheel Nope. Can you point to where Bernie has a plan that’s not Green Lantern fantasyland written in response to Hillary Campaign?1 reply 1 retweet 0 likes -

@DanaHoule So you admit Hillary doesn't have a plan? OK. Thanks.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@emptywheel I admit that NOBODY has a feasible plan that isn’t stipulated on fantasy, so best option is to play out ACA & see what happens2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@DanaHoule So do nothing, or in reality, play defense w/o changing the terms of the debate. You're entitled to think that's best.3 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

@emptywheel YES. Often doing nothing is far better than doing something that’s likely to make things far worse.3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@DanaHoule From day one on ACA, Dems have played defense. EVEN, until LA Gov, on Medicaid expansion. Guess what? That hurt the party.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@emptywheel I’m less concerned that it “hurt the party” than I am that it helped people, & can’t be undone without Dem complicity1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@DanaHoule It did help people. It also hurt people. $$$ people could spend on education now paying for insurance they can't use.
