@evanperez Doesn't that make it rather hard for State to review? You can demand SM IDs on threat of immigration fraud, but review them? -
@emptywheel yes. It makes it impossible to review. -
@evanperez Not impossible, I don't think. Do online app, get IP address fr that, use NSA's existing correlations database to ID all aliases -
@emptywheel if someone doesn't tell you their pseudonymous accts & if they use hotspots, nearly impossible. -
@evanperez IF pseudonyms aren't correlated w/something else. Obv, they correlated her FB to her known email. She wasn't hiding that well.

@emptywheel Note that 1 of 2 private FB messages was from 2012. 6 years ago!. Q: Which US intel org keeps 6 yr old private FB messages? -
@LemonSlayerUS It would only have been 2 years old during visa app. They could have found it, but it'd be very resource intensive. -
.
@emptywheel Agree with both of your conclusions. Still, who's keeping stuff for 6 years NOW is Q in my tweet. Current search found. Where? -
.
@emptywheel Doh! Forgot how to count. 4 years. Not 6. Nevermind! :-)
