I don't think anyone is questioning the guilt of two representatives. They're questioning the innocence of others.
@mccannr1 I'm questioning the expulsion-level guilt of Gamrat. Not clear she's morally/legally worse than a lot of them.

@emptywheel Don't disagree with you. They both did a lot of bad things, many of which are not all that uncommon inside the Capitol -
@mccannr1 Yep. Big evidence I saw of legal/ethical failings was Courser tho, not Gamrat. She's just a girl with cooties to GOP at this point -
@emptywheel@mccannr1 that's completely false. She was an equal participant in misuse of staff, coercion, forgeries, lying to investigators -
@riverracket I didn't read full report, I read summary. But summary didn't convey that at all.@mccannr1 -

@emptywheel@mccannr1 she's made provably false statements on several occasions, including to HBO investigators -
@riverracket But has that case been made? That's part of the problem w/fast-track public shaming.@mccannr1 -
@emptywheel@mccannr1 absolutely. It's in black and white in the report
