@emptywheel Yes, they didn't work for me, my eyes are too nearsighted and too astigmatic.

@dreamyaj Suspect I'd fall in same category. Ah well.

@emptywheel tried them, hated them. Embrace glasses. -
@capeannsky Thanks--that was sort of my question. Seems like a tough thing to solve. -
@emptywheel they just don't work very well. One of those things like "toe socks", they exist but are they worth it?

@emptywheel Yup, I got 'em. They are slightly thicker on one part so it maintains the proper rotation on your eye. They're really cool. -
@nittacci I've got contacts for astigmatism (had them for decades). I find I can't read my phone w/them bc they don't have near correction. -
@emptywheel Yeah, that's the catch. I've got a pair of cheap reading glasses in my pocket for the closeup stuff.

@emptywheel I use 'hard' contacts-one 4upclose & one 4distance. I have 'driving' glasses that correct the upclose lens 4distance4 movies etcThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@emptywheel yep. These are from a "friend". Not mine. I'm without flaw. But I've heard they work very well for this.pic.twitter.com/KtxJxQUoAu
