@emptywheel yup, this is key to so many old-school defects (see GM/Delphi, Takata, etc). Hacking vulns add a whole new layer to the problem. -

@Tweetermeyer Never heard of it. Doesn't seem necessary bc 1) they're so hackable now 2) there's far less application to getting data. -
