Anyone besides me finding Wunderground's data to be far less reliable than it was before they got bought?

@emptywheel Yes, I've tweeted about this on numerous occasions. Since buyout, WU's data is sometimes laughably bad and wildly inaccurate.

@brianstorms Like days where a few readings are bad and they report it being 10 degrees warmer (or colder) than it is?

@emptywheel Yep. I have screenshots where WU says today is a LOT warmer than yesterday, but in fact today is 10F+ colder, etc

@brianstorms OK that's precisely what has me bugged. Are they not getting data from same stations, or is there some glitch in their matrix?

@emptywheel yes, it's no longer as reliable depending where you live. You can check your zip at http://forecastadvisor.com  for actual rankings

@nSquib Which would be really troubling since I live 2 hours from Ann Arbor. But seems to be the case.

@emptywheel to clarify, some cities seem to be much more accurate than others, not necessarily rural v city.
