@emptywheel but I suspect it was some other inter-bank mechanism, like the credit reporting agencies, that led them to make you an offer. -
@jhamby My guess was credit reporting, yes. But definitely the kind of thing Google keeps an eye on too. -
@emptywheel@jhamby The difference between credit report based tracking/ads and Google etc is FCRA. You have recourse and a right to info.
