@natedogg213 LOL. You're so cute! Wikipedia!?!?! My college freshmen weren't that dumb.
@natedogg213 You do realize that Benghazi is where extremists got first toehold? You do realize we had drones patrolling close to there?

@emptywheel I don’t see how this has anything to with the win-loss argument. Would you prefer I send a link w/o the word “Benghazi”? -
@natedogg213 I'd prefer if you claim victory you not point to stuff that actually is evidence of loss. Really basic freshman comp stuff. -
@emptywheel You really dislike freshmen! Another link: http://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/137073/ivo-h-daalder-and-james-g-stavridis/natos-victory-in-libya … You confuse operational victories with long-term effect. -
@natedogg213 Um. Maybe you should see what Daalder now says? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/07/libya-intervention-daalder_n_6809756.html … "situation in Libya...is horrific in many dimensions." -
@emptywheel validates my point: “If you look at those goals [of NATO intervention] they were all met.” Other factors were also at play. -
@natedogg213 And the goals in Iraq and Afghanistan were both met. But both were historic losses, catastrophically so in Iraq case.
