If the FBI entrapped white supremacists & neo-nazis based on thoughts, like they do to Muslims, there'd be thousands of them in prison.

@emptywheel are you saying the threat posed by Jihadist groups is less than threat posed by neo-nazis? -
@EliLake But I'm not the one saying they pose less of a threat than right wingers. Our IC is. I don't have access to the intel to say. -
@emptywheel No that’s not what the IC says. 9/11 is a mass casualty attack that is nothing like the other attacks. -
@EliLake And while we're at it, the greatest threat to America is not terrorism in the least. Treating it as such hurts America, badly. -
@emptywheel I also think Jihadist threat is more global and beyond just terrorism. But it’s not comparable to other radical movements. -
@EliLake What constitutes a "radical" movement? Bankers have undermined very notion of property. Isn't that radical? Are Saudis radical? -
@emptywheel Your point about bankers is just batty. -
@EliLake How so? You think changing property laws is not radical? - 4 more replies

@emptywheel@EliLake@ArarMaher We don't need more Randy Weavers or FBI-created "terrorists." Entrapment tactics suck, regardless of target. -
@radleybalko Oh, I agree with that. Our acceptance that not all right wing attacks can be prevented is instructive.@EliLake@ArarMaher
