@emptywheel Was reading your blog on the Silk Road server unmasking. The June 6, 2013 images were from an earlier server id'd in Feb 2013.
@secruedmh Yes. I described it as "a server Silk Road had earlier been using."

@emptywheel They say in Doc 70-4 that they didn't actually request imaging of "Server-1" but it was done by Iceland June 6th anyway. -
@emptywheel So it fits with Tarbell's declaration that they didn't request it as they realised the server had moved. -
@secruedmh Don't see how that makes the story hang together at all. It's still a virgin birth on the very same timeframe.
-
@emptywheel Also, was having trouble following the link for "page 23 has some additional dates" as it points to the 10 page Tarbell doc. -
@emptywheel Shouldn't any virgin birth be dated to Feb 2013 when they first unmask a potential server IP? -
@emptywheel Between the first Feb unmasking and when they got the traffic information for "server-1" they knew the server had changed twice -
@emptywheel The latest change being in May 2013. I'm not sure it's scandalous for them to want to try and find the new server? -
@emptywheel Which they did after receiving the "server-1" traffic data in May 2013.
