Apple says "vast majority" of 4,132 LE device requests it got in US last year were customers w/lost or stolen phone, not cops after content.
@ericghill They provided content in 155 account requests. So I'd be 10% is more like it, especially since Cloud requests are easier.

@ericghill 1,200 iPhones stolen in San Francisco alone last year. You'd get to 5,000 device requests pretty quickly from stolen phones
