@SpringaldJack Yes. I sheepishly accepted other corrections earlier. It was sloppy on my part. -
@emptywheel sorry I did see. Reacted viscerally. Np.

@emptywheel The NYT would find Manning worthy of clemency if only Assange had flushed the toilet.http://www.vice.com/read/julian-assange-your-shithead-roommate-chapter-1 …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@emptywheel Because in their eyes Manning = Assange, whom they hate, cuz, ya know, his socks smell. -
@dametzger if#Snowden pulls this off w/o mega-punishment, it'll be hard(er) to keep#Manning confined for years.@emptywheel -
@peterkofod@emptywheel Odds of Snowden being pardoned? ZERO. -
@dametzger quite a gulf between "pardon" & "locked up in a cage for 35 years".Also, not sure about "zero" at all.. we'll see@emptywheel -
@peterkofod@emptywheel There is no historical precedent for a pardon or semi-pardon. Even D. Ellesberg got off on a technicality. -
@dametzger true - & that is probably much more likely here too - but still, I think a pardon just went quite a bit up from zero@emptywheel
