Also, according to this sleep study, dreams in black and white can be a sign of depressionhttp://ow.ly/pRaAf
@SarahBurris Is it normal for dogs to have nightmares they need to be comforted to get over?

@emptywheel Does your dog have a therapist? -
@SarahBurris If he did, we'd be broke. Even vet says he's OCD. He has ... difficulties w/having been abandoned by frat that first had him. -
@emptywheel ahhhh ... well that's understandable. I think validating him and reassuring him that he's pretty and loved always is helpful... -
@SarahBurris Oh, he's validated. I actually think last night's dream was something bad happening to Mr EW, cause he needed Mr EW love. -
@emptywheel awww pooor puppy... my parents' dog use to dream and when he woke he was so happy and bouncy and smiling -
@SarahBurris Usu his dreams are pure fantasy--pretty obviously about how brave and powerful he is. Last night he hyperventilated. -
@emptywheel wow! that's intense. My cat would twitch sometimes and I'd softly pet her and she'd stretch and cover her eyes was so cute -
@SarahBurris He's a neurotic pup. But I wouldn't trade him. - 1 more reply
