I ask again: is it a formal part of NYT's paywall policy that warmongering articles targeting Iran are exempted?

@emptywheel One weird thing though is that referrers seem to matter sometimes. Coming from Twitter *might* not increment it. -

@emptywheel The count of articles viewed just lives in a cookie; unless it's encrypted it should be easy to see it change. -
@captain_tenille Actually, this month I'm getting the cookie counting at 9 over and over, rather than just turning off on referrals. -

@msbellows The unscrupulous just clear them out. It's quite easy, or so I hear.
