First time I've had somebody show up at my door for a Republican national candidate polling. I feel grimy now; I should hose off my porch.
@raynetoday Did they self-identify as volunteers? And did you tell them candidates should have finished IDing 3 weeks ago?

@emptywheel Clearly ID'd from ROMNEY/RYAN t-shirt she was wearing. Looked at first like she wanted to shake my hand--then looked disgusted.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@emptywheel@raynetoday That's interesting. Many ask ID and then offer to register you if you say GOP. If ID=Dem, they walk. -
@Casual_Obs Latest registration date was last Tuesday, I think. Not certain what she was really up to--little on clipboard.@emptywheel -
@raynetoday@emptywheel I've seen that staffing Cos. like Pinpoint are shifting directly from V. Reg. to GOTV efforts once deadline passes. -
@Casual_Obs@emptywheel This is a crazy 'hood to be GOTV. I can walk to my polling place from this row of McMansions. Desperate? -
@raynetoday dunno, differs so much from State to County to District. -
@Casual_Obs I have to laugh about it, had the same look on her face one of my Republican neighbors had, door-to-dooring for her daughter.>>
