In the age of Trump, reporters do seem more willing to call out straightforward, factual lies. Interpretation can be harder, but in the original Post story, there wasn't even any commentary from Democrats, let alone "impartial" analysts.

In the age of Trump, as the lies compound daily, reporters double down on using euphemisms to avoid saying that's a lie, or he/she lied. My earlier point: not only should they debunk the bullshit fed by political operatives, journos should pursue & tease out the truth.
