I never get over Kav's sheer audacity. What he is attempting to do here (lie under oath to avoid admitting sexual improprieties) is PRECISELY what Kav deemed an impeachable offense when Clinton tried it.

I’m also struck: aren’t we finding out about these limitations because the FBI is PISSED about them? The leak is a big fat sign saying “please investigate here, journalists”
-
Good point! FBI can’t talk to store where Judge worked, well go get that journalists and splash it on front pages.

Limiting the scope of (and time allowed for) the investigation is an admission by the Trump administration that they know Brett Kavanaugh is guilty of various things that are slightly beyond the scope of the investigation.
-
Now that we know: a) Brett Kavanaugh is guilty of substantial misconduct, including probably sexual assault/rape & lying under oath b) Trump administration knows he's guilty Question: what does the US Senate do about it?

Think. The GOP did not want this FBI investigation. However Trump can now use it as a test case to use and take over the FBI. USA is moving toward a dictatorship by increments. This is an increment.

I agree. It’s a slow takeover of every Branch, every Borough, every Department.
-
I think it is called consolidation of power. However this does not look like a democratic consolidation to me. Looks like something that has been seen over again in much lesser places.

Sure, we knew the 1-week investigation couldn’t cover everything. But refusing to interview Mark Judge’s college girlfriend (given the nature of what’s been made public so far) seems to be an outright rejection of information very pertinent to background.

Then I hope ALL his victims and witnesses file police reports. Unless they are waiting for *the perfect* time to blackmail Justice Kegger Kav to achieve desired SCOTUS rulings.

Right. The way you cripple an investigation and determine the outcome in advance is by limiting its scope and preventing follow up on leads developed. Investigators become mere stenographers.

I suspect that he's lied enough that they can find it out, no matter how limited the scope is.

I think Trump has inadvertently made the account of
@MichaelAvenatti’s client far more significant by attempting to block it. - 1 more reply

He lied about his having to " Bust his tail to get into Yale "His Grandfather had a slot reserved for him. He definitely had to "bust his tail "to keep his grades up to an acceptable level . If in fact he did, they could have been paid for too. So many inconsistencies.

The investigation was supposed to include the known allegations as it was stated on Friday.
