The thing I feel is missing in these articles is a more general consciousness for the fact that Kavanaugh is, indeed, nothing special. His judicial acumen is mediocre and the reasoning in many of his opinions reeks of motivated reasoning and opportunistic invention of principles

made up by him -- and this isn't something that was traditionally seen as disqualifying, as Scalia, Thomas and many other SCOTUS justices have shown. What I feel is missing is generally calling out the complete nonsense that the conservative "jurisprudence" has been producing

And fawing over as supposed judicial brilliance for three or four generations...

The sanctimony, entitlement and the mind-numbing drone of a voice took me back to Ollie North's testimony. Two guys with different economic and educational backgrounds, but both members of ultimately the same criminal enterprise.

Excellent article. He reflexively lies. Nothing about that makes him qualified for the Supreme Court.

Kav: "I got into Yale Law School. That’s the number one law school in the country. I had no connections there. I got there by busting my tail in college." Parents both lawyers. Yale undergrad. GTown Prep (now $56K per year). But he had no help in life. The struggle is real.

Only liar was Ford who got paid $700,000 to lie to Congress Teddy Kennedy killed a woman, left her to die in cold blood Bill Clinton is accused of repeated rapes Keith Ellison beats his partner The left & DNC as well as their supporters are nothing but grotesque hypocrites

Let’s not put any of them on the Supreme Court either. I seem to recall that Brett Kavanaugh thought lying under oath to avoid embarrassment was an impeachable offense. He can live with his own standard.

Name me one proven lie he told

If you believe any of the following, I have an exciting oceanfront investment opportunity for you - in Kansas: 1. “Renate Alumni” is a term of respect 2. Devil’s Triangle is a drinking game 3. Brett never got wasted 4. He put a shoutout to his delicate tummy in the yearbook

Teenage boy got drunk and was a bit lewd And you've no evidence nor proof to back your claims It would be comical if it were not so pathetic
-
What’s comical is anyone trying to pretend he wasn’t lying.https://twitter.com/joshtpm/status/1046015097410375680?s=21 …

*or trying to pretend the lying doesn’t matter. It does.
