Ford: I was a teenager so I wanted to go in one door and my mother go in another. I chose the wrong door bc Mark Judge was arranging shopping carts. I said hello to him. His face was white, in saying hello back.

Ford: We had always been friendly with one another. I wouldn't characterize him as not friendly. He looked ill. Says it happened 6-8 weeks after the incident.

Ford has been, obviously and understandably, really emotional. But Chuck Grassley has been as emotional -- he's really defensive about his role here.

Ford's comment about the indelible memory of being laughed at is consistent with Brett's in-joke about the Renate alumni, a guy joking with his buddies at the expense of women. I'd sure like him to look for Kozinski emails to see whether he continued to do so until recently.
