And on July 1st he was “grabbing skis” with the boys, two of which were named by Dr. Ford. These people are so bad at thispic.twitter.com/Bn21kwGXkA
these calendars in no way exonerate him. this is a shit show.
Unbelievable that he thought releasing these calendars would help him. All they do is open him up to dozens of new questions. Maybe he’s not smart enough to be a Supreme Court justice.
Not only was he grounded on the 7th, the day before prom, but he was also grounded the following two weeks
And we don't get the calendars for April, when he did whatever he did to get grounded.
Fake Calendar
who grounds an 18 year old? (this is not an argument against the authenticity of these calendars, which prove or disprove nothing in any case)
He was 17 here. His birthday was in February, so he turned 18 in February 1983.
How the heck is he claiming he wasn't drinking underage based on law being 18 (which changed when he was 17)?
Yes. He was never able to drink legally Maryland as a 18-year-old or 19-year-old or 20 year old. The law change before he turned 18 and so he was not grandfathered in. He flat out lied. He was not able to drink legally at college either.
He was not able to drink legally as a freshman at @yale, yet his RA and RD did lots of wink winking on his drinking.
If he has kept such detailed calendars since high school, he should not be able to say, "I don't recall." to any question since he should have a calendar to check.
So he has detailed memorialization of diaries from 35+ years ago surely he must have records of who paid for hundreds of thousands of $$$ in baseball tickets from last year
Also, the July 1 entry looks a lot like the party Dr Ford describes right?https://twitter.com/snowmanomics/status/1044942312860798977 …
grounded = "no alibi for whereabouts"
Grounded on Friday, Prom on Saturday- how does that work? Also, note parties he goes to w/ mention of driver. Why would you list a driver unless there was going to be drinking?
No such thing as designated driver back then.
I was in college in early '80s, rarely went to parties, but quite clearly remember designated drivers, though may not have called them that.
Could absolutely be something he added afterwards to look more responsible.
