Then, in an update designed to rebut the (more responsible) reporting of other outlets, NYT reveals the timeline suggested elsewhere in the article is false. It wasn't May 10. It was May 16. It's still not adequate rebuttal bc they're working only secondhand, not fr docs.pic.twitter.com/4UpHmpcuMt
But here's how NYT has undermined their entire story. It's NOT in response to Comey firing alone these things came up. It's in response to Comey firing, admitting it was bc of RU investigation, and leaking Israeli Intel to Russia. That changes the meaning. A lot.
That's another thing that misleading quotes abt Page's take on whether there was evidence of "collusion" on May 17 (which NYT Mike gets wrong 100% of time in any case). Does leaking intel to Russia count after firing the FBI BECAUSE of RU investigation? Well, it's sure a clue.
Anyway, highlighting NYT's original misrepresentation of timing also makes clear that this leak is exclusively about decision to hire Mueller, and their "scoop" is just inadequately understood (by them and their sources) attempt to say Rosenstein was nuts when hiring Mueller.
Maybe before publishing stories that may lead to a Constitutional crisis actually understand the timeline?
Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a 31-year-old former intelligence officer, was brought on to Trump’s national Security Council by Michael Flynn and was pushed out of the White House by H.R. McMaster, is rejoining the Trump administration as Jeff Sessions’s national security adviser.
Cohen-Watnick's wife worked for a DC firm that represented Russia. He was involved in the Nunes meltdown at the White House last year. He was rumored to be hired by Sessions but detoured to work for Oracle as that corp donated big money to Nunes' campaign. Not. Normal.
I get the feeling their “source” is Bill Shine... jmo.
Yes Mr. Palmer was there with this quite some time ago:https://www.palmerreport.com/analysis/25th-amendment-rod-rosenstein-add/12901/ …
I have a feeling that with all these snippets, leaks and belated recollections dripping now years after actual events, the truth is getting buried deeper and deeper. Plus, you have two adversaries of different class - journos vs. skilled players in the truth game.
Truth wins every time
I have a feeling that with each passing day, we're getting farther and farther away from it.
And I had big hopes for (don't laugh, please) world peace, based on resolving what happened in the USofA, and what's going on in the world

And yet look at the progress in NK. Stay hopeful!
I agree on that. But I think they've got him by the b...s. So he may solve that problem, but immediately there are 2 new rising: Iran and China. Like, this is really new:https://twitter.com/RT_com/status/1043049712918716417?s=19 …
@maggieNYT read this thread and maybe start to comprehend what the NYT has done. Echoes of Judith Miller but Miller knew what she was doing.
Oh noooo....not the "always wrong Sara Carter"!!
The firing it says he enthusiastically supported.
You are seriously nitpicking if you read this as taking place in one single day.
Wow, low blow.
Sure, NYT may have blown it but to compare it to
@SaraCarterDC ?
That's too much LOL.
Now, an amoeba or protein strain? That's more her equivalent...
