Who knew "this will be easier if we convince people we are pro-west" would have the double bonus of some ass hat years later going "see they tried to convince people they were pro west, so they were pro west" as a defense against actions that clearly signal the opposite.

Only with Bozo the Clown and sleazy Congressmen tho. It's transparently obvious to other people.

Here, via Mueller, are 2013 emails from Manafort (PJM) to Yanacovych ("President VFY") & others detailing PJM's strategy to promote Ukrainian alignment w/ West/EU & away from Russia. Are you saying these internal emails are "propaganda"? Did Manafort foresee Mueller probe?

Is the theory that Manafort was anticipating an investigation and wanted to do some sort of preemptive obfuscation by doing lobbying against Russia’s interest? And he is going to flip? And you are a clown if you don’t see/believe it?
-
is the theory that manafort was anti-russian? cause that’s insane
-
No the theory is that Manafort was a corrupt asshole that took money from everyone who offered it to him, and that the Russia conspiracy nonsense is unrelated to his corruption and the corruption of Tony Podesta and every other corrupt asshole in DC who takes money
-
He worked for Yanukovych and his party. Read up on what happened. Can you see why a *politician* would want to shift away (or be seen as shifting away) from Russia? It’s not a conspiracy, it’s Politics 101.

HE LOBBIED YAKUNOVICH TO JOIN THE EU!!! He wasn’t “pro-Yakunovich” he was PRO WEST! Such stupidity and misreading of the most BASIC FACTS OF THE CONFLICT

Aren't you the person who got caught up in believing a 'source' of yours was actually a Russian asset who turned out just to be a grifter?
-
Fascinating portrayal of it. Where did that come from?

It is entertaining when propaganda becomes something that people source to. It's akin to putting WikiLeaks in a bibliography.

Even if we assume that everything leaked was genuine (which I most certainly do not), it was propaganda if because one and only one candidate got Wikileak'd on.
-
And yet, if Trump got his emails leaked, you’d be singing praise for Wikileaks right now and you know it. So just admit that you’re a partisan loyalist to one party, and since that candidate got exposed, you’re just bitter about it. Try that next time.
-
By the way, learn the definition of propaganda, because it’s not even close to how you chose to randomly define it. Furthermore, Wikileaks released information that was given to them. They didn’t steal anything, they just published what was given to them.

Someone trying to argue that Yanukovych was really the pro-Western candidate is... something.
-
Someone trying to argue that hiring a US lobbyist to build ties with US and EU, which Kremlin opposed, was a pro-Kremlin move is something as well.
