George Papadopoulos is colossally stupid.

So what's Mueller's real plan: Charge George with lying (an indictment that gets stretched out for over a year), right before charging him with lying again (for different lies) from the same set of interviews with the FBI? That would make the SC look ridiculous.
-
I agree. That's not going to happen. Want me to help you do basic thinking again?
-
Please. FYI, I read your piece today already. I am really trying to see how you decipher things. I just disagree. Ok?
-
Yes. You disagree, but it's clear your understanding of how things proceed isn't very sophisticated, so that may be part of the reason why you disagree.
-
Not nice. I had a 30 year career, mostly as an Executive. I dealt with numerous legal issues and lawsuits for companies I worked for. Example of hole in your recent argument on Flynn. You do not know what Flynn told Trump directly, such as that he was not under investigation.
-
Congratulations on your successful career being sued. You appear to have missed precisely WHERE I noted that Flynn had had time w/Trump personally.
-
Never said I was sued, or caused legal issues. Re Flynn, your whole premise was based on "Trump knew Flynn was under investigation". I read where you noted they met. My point is perfect opportunity to assure Trump. (Comey asked investigation to shut down in Dec 2017.)
-
You appear to ENTIRELY misunderstand the point of my post. I'm not interested in whether the Flynn firing leads to obstruction (except insofar as he offered him a pardon).

So you were able to quickly discern that Papadopoulos is still lying but the Justice Dept is unaware of his ongoing deceit?
-
Hmmm. Let's think about this a bit, shall we? I can help you. What do you think would be a public sign of DOJ discerning a Papadopolous lie?
-
Notifying the court that Papadopolous was uncooperative and dishonest.
-
Well, SCO did that. That's why they're asking for jail time.
-
For your narrative to be correct, the Special Counsel is aware that Papadopoulos is still lying and yet they're only recommending 6 mo. That's ridiculous. Mueller would be recommending that the court sentence him to the maximum term.
-
How do you know this? Why wouldn’t they report his repeated lies to the court, so it could impose a fair sentence, and make their own rec consistent w/ other sentences in the case? Remember, he likely also gave them useful information in compliance with his coop agreement.
-
My point is we don’t know what happened. But it’s odd that the OSC highlighted his repeated lies, didn’t say he helped the investigation, didn’t say he didn’t honor his coop agreement, and then recc’d a light sentence. 1/2

Mr. Mueller stated Papadopoulos repeatedly lied prior to agreeing to cooperate. Then he acknowledged Papadopoulos cooperated.pic.twitter.com/vb8DWpHfD3
