In the absence of the @ggreenwald v. @emptywheel debate on Trump/Russia I've always wanted, I'm gonna need an http://emptywheel.net takedown of all the dumb arguments he makes in his two recent profiles. Sorry, Marcy.

Yeah, I'm just frustrated that Glenn and his ilk seldom engage publicly with the most responsible and knowledgeable people on the subject.
-
As a lay person I see a lot of logical and factual problems in what he has said on the topic. I'd love to see someone who really knows their stuff dissect it, though at least in your case I'm sure you have much more worthwhile things to write up.
-
It seems kinda telling actually that he hasn't engaged the substance of your writing, especially since it runs afoul of some of his biggest pet peeves.

You begin by addressing the fact that women journalists were not interviewed for his profile, as though that's his fault, then launch into what you're really mad about- that he doesn't buy the Russia red scare tactics. This is a shoddy article. You do women a real disservice here
-
Nah. Women who don't realize I pointed out he doesn't know enough facts abt RU investigation to be of interest are doing women a disservice.
-
Then make that the title of your article instead of trying to frame it as an anti-woman issue. Or stick to the anti-women issue and give broader examples that actually lift women journalists. You're just mad about Russia.
-
Oh. Okay.

I'm still a tad curious as to the driving motivation behind, "Greenwald’s insistence that the Russia story is a fabrication of a fevered, Russo-phobic liberal mind."
