Still no answer on 1) when McGahn's third (or more) interview was 2) whether it pertained to the case in chief.https://twitter.com/twpolk/status/1031684669543198726 …

And Burck's assurances that McGahn didn't incriminate Trump may not mean much if he revealed CAMPAIGN financial shenanigans that will lead people (Stone, Cohen, Jared, Parscale) to have to testify on Trump.pic.twitter.com/SJ1A1KkhP6

It’s pretty hilarious that people assume McGahn and/or his lawyer’s would be totally forthcoming with the president’s legal team.
-
Especially since McGahn thinks they were trying to set him up. That suspicion was even more evident in the NYT "the daily" podcast. They implied that the Cobb/Dowd "argument" overheard by a NYT reporter was the clincher that convinced McGahn they were trying to set him up.
-
Careful: McGahn claims he thought they were trying to set him up. It may be he just knows he has fucked the President is making excuses. He's great at PR.

Joint defense agreement still in effect here?
